-This month, Doren learned to crawl for real. I don't have the exact date he started, but he's been doing it most of the month.
-We also started the cruising stage this month. He is quite the expert at walking around the living room holding on to stuff. He can go from the couch, to the end table, to his pack and play, etc.
-He definitely knows the word no. When he has something he shouldn't and we say no, most of the time he drops it and starts crying. The other times, he smiles and keeps doing what he was doing (stinker).
-He also knows what to do when we say "arms up". We say this whenever we are changing his clothes, and he lifts his arms by himself every time!
-Doren is getting so big. He started wearing 9 month clothes recently, and he weighs a little over 19 lb.
-He is doing great with his babysitter. He started going to her August 14th, and she absolutely LOVES him, and her daughters do too! I know Doren feels the same way about them :)
-Doren is eating less formula and more solid food. He is eating 3 solid meals a day, and each meal is about 3-4 oz. He isn't consistent with his bottles, so I don't know how much formula he gets.
-New foods this month were broccoli, squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples, bananas, and pears.
-Doren now drinks water out of a sippy cup and a straw cup. It didn't take him long to catch on, and we love starting him on water so early.
-He is learning how to clap. You can even hear it sometimes!
-September 16 we noticed a top tooth trying to come in.
-September 19 we noticed it has broken through the gums, so we have 3 teeth now!
