7 months

7 months!!

-We started rice cereal the day Doren turned 6 months.  Since then, he has had oatmeal, zucchini, peas, avocado, asparagus, and green beans.  He loves eating "real food" and does a great job!  We just started feeding him three meals a day since he is eating solids better than his bottles.

-He learned to roll from his back to stomach on July 23rd.  Nap time consisted of him rolling over most of the time :)

-Doren's bald spot is disappearing since he's finally growing some hair over it.

-He starting "crawling" this month.  He JUST started picking his stomach up, but only for a few steps because it takes him longer than just army crawling.  I have a feeling he will be running around in no time!

-Because he is so busy and active, he hates sitting still to eat his bottles.  This has been a major issue this month because he eats very little formula during the day and is waking up twice during the night to make up for it.  (He was sleeping through the night before he started fighting us during the day.)

-Doren LOVES cords, computers, phones, remotes, flip flops, and anything else he's not suppose to get.  He is super fast when he sees something he wants.

-August 6th, Doren pulled himself all the way up using the couch.  He really wants to be more independent than he is.

-August 14th, Doren repeatedly pulled himself up on an ottoman at his babysitter's house.  He has not stopped pulling up on things since the 14th.  This includes the bathtub, t.v. stand, and bookshelf.

-August 17th, Cullen found him STANDING in his crib.  I'm telling you, my kid is crazy!

-Doren's baths are now in the big tub.  He still loves the bath, but is now spending most of his time trying to stand up (and is successful quite a bit).  Needless to say, bath time is shorter than it used to be.

-He starting making this smacking noise halfway through the month.  It's funny, but the face he makes with it is funnier.

-He also figured out he can make a clicking noise using his teeth and his fingers.
