5 months

I can't believe my baby is 5 months!  It is so much fun to watch him change and grow.

- Doren is now 15 lb 10 oz.  

- I don't remember exactly when we switched, but he is using the fast flow nipple.  We switched when he started leaving quite a bit of his bottle uneaten.  I think he was getting bored, so the faster nipple helps.

- We are still at 6 oz about every 3 hours.

- Doren is a very squirmy, active baby.  He loves to watch everything going on around him.

- He loves to grab his feet, and he can chew on his toes now :)

- He rolled over at 3 1/2 months, but he has started to do it more frequently.

- Doren loves doing crunches...okay, maybe he's just trying to sit up, but either way he's going to have rock hard abs :)

- This past month Doren has started to grab his bottle and put it in his mouth.  He definitely knows what his bottle is for.

- Doren had his first trip to the zoo this month.

- We went swimming for the first time this month.  He loves water, so it was a hit.

- Doren is now going to bible class at church instead of staying with us.  In fact, we barely see him at church because everyone wants to hold him.

- He loves when we read books or sing to him.

- He is pretty fascinated by anything we are eating or drinking.  He tries really hard to get our cups and plates.

- Speaking of eating, Doren does a great job of sitting in his high chair while Cullen and I eat dinner.  It's nice being able to eat without having to hold him.
