4 months

It's been 4 months since we welcomed Doren into the world.  He's getting to be so much fun with his slobbery smiles and laughs.  Here's some things about the past month:

- His 4 month appointment isn't until next week, but when we weighed him this week he was 13 lb. 14 oz.  He's packing on the pounds!  I think he's making up for his first 2 months :)  

- He is still eating 6 oz about every 3 hours.

- He smiles all the time.  Baby smiles are the cutest!

- Doren has started laughing this month.  He normally does it when we are tickling him or singing to him.

- He has recently started this weird squealing sound.  It's annoying, cute, and funny at the same time :)

- This past week he has started grabbing his feet.  He tries to get them in his mouth, but hasn't quite mastered that.

- Doren is still drooling ALL the time.  I feel like I spend half my time wiping his face/chest/hands.

- He loves to chew on whatever he can put his hands on.  This includes his hands, my hands, his bottle nipple, toys, blankets, etc.

- With all the drool and chewing, it's possible he's already teething, but we don't see or feel anything yet.  I guess we'll see later.

- He rolled over for the first time this month, but he still hasn't gotten the hang of doing it all the time.

- He's now big enough to enjoy his jumperoo.

- This past month Doren started sleeping from 8:30 p.m. until we had to get him up at 6:00 a.m.  He does still wake up occasionally, but we just have to give him his pacifier.

- He is quite easy at bed time.  We feed him, change him, say his blessing, lay him down with his pacifier, and 9 times out of 10 can walk out of his room without another sound from him.

- Naps are just as easy most of the time, but sometimes he fights those a little bit.

*At his 4 month appointment on 5/29/12:  Doren weighed 14 lb. 5 oz. which is the 21%.  He was 25 1/2 in. long which is the 57%.  His head was almost 17 in. which is the 70%.*
